Alcumlow Wedding Barn, just outside of Congleton in Cheshire, provided the perfect backdrop for Rick and Tracy’s gorgeous, relaxed wedding on a sunny August day in 2018.
Surrounded by her mum, sister-in-law and bestie-maid-of-honour, Tracy was pampered and preened by the talented Jodie Acton in what can only be described as the most heavenly bridal prep room a wedding photographer could ask for… Although everyone’s eye make up was nearly ruined* when Tracy opened Rick’s card. He’s a softie, really!
*Including mine… yes I’m the girl who’s been known to cry at an Andrex advert, but still.
The pictures speak for themselves, but Tracy looked an absolute knockout in her Wed2Be dress, and it matched her stunning blush pink and baby’s breath bouquet from Flowers4All and hair pieces from Tuesday’s Child perfectly.
Meeting Rick at the front of the aisle, it was clear to see how loved-up this gorgeous pair were — plenty of smiles and giggles all the way through their ceremony.
The weather gods were in our favour, so Rick & Tracy’s guests could celebrate al fresco. Plenty of bubbles and beers to go around in the courtyard of this gorgeous Cheshire wedding barn.
Later on, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house for the father-daughter dance, followed an hour or so later (not before sneaking in a sneaky sunset photo session for the newlyweds) by the first dance. More tears of joy shed, obvs.
Pretty soon, the dance floor was full. Mega moves, dance-offs, and a rendition of Hold On by Wilson Phillips for Tracy and her maid of honour — the night wouldn’t have been complete without it.
Here are a few of my favourites from that beautiful day last year…
